Dear Golfer,
Do you enjoy playing golf on a beautiful mountain golf course and supporting a worthwhile local charity at the same time? If so, please join the Alleghany Trail Blazers, Inc. at beautiful High Meadows Country Club in Roaring Gap, NC on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 for a charitable day of golf. There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entry fee is $100 per person.
Alleghany Trail Blazers, Inc. is a non-profit organization reaching out and providing life changing experiences through the use of therapeutic horseback riding to mentally and physically disabled individuals.

Who we are:
Alleghany Trail Blazers is a non profit organization whose purpose is to promote the rehabilitation of individuals with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities through equine-related activities.
What we do:
We welcome special needs students from all areas to come and ride with Alleghany Trail Blazers. There is no charge for these students for the riding program.
Where we are:
Located on Highway US 21 south between Sparta and Roaring Gap.
How you can help:
All net benefits from this tournament will go toward promotion of this program. Your sponsorships, entry fees, and contributions are greatly appreciated and will benefit these children.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Format:
The format is captain’s choice, and you will be allowed to make up your own teams. There will be divisions for men, senior men, women, and senior women. Mixed teams are welcome but are not eligible except for individual prizes. Breakfast and lunch will be donated by corporate sponsors. You may choose from morning or afternoon shotguns.
Fees:
The entry fee is $100 per person or $400 per team, and payment should accompany the entry form. If you do not have a team and wish us to assign you to a team, please check the box on the entry form. The fee includes your golf, prizes, meals and gratuities.

Mulligans:
Mulligans will be available for sale at the tournament. Mulligans cannot be used to win individual prizes.
Prizes/Contests:
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners in each flight. In addition, there will be individual prizes for closest to the pin on certain holes. Numerous gifts and prizes have been donated locally.
Dress:
Appropriate golf attire; men wear collared shirts, no denims please.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Sponsors may participate at different levels:
- Platinum: $3000
- Gold: $2000
- Silver: $1000
- Bronze: $500
- Hole Sponsors: $100
